1st Lesson with Ali Ahmed
My first lesson with Ali Ahmed was a great experience. He made me feel very safe and had assisted me with any issues I had. He made a plan of what my first lesson would be about and how I would accomplish the tasks within the lesson. We managed to complete all the tasks within the session. The way he structures his lessons based off the current experience you have with driving is perfect.
Ali’s coaching style is very good, it is helpful and engaging instead of telling you what to do he assists and helps out while I am driving to make sure I execute the action(s) well and so that I can get used to it quickly. The tips he gives are very useful and have helped me improve. Based off what I say and do in the lesson Ali gives a de-brief of what I had done in the lesson and makes sure my knowledge of what I have learnt is good and tests my knowledge so I can get full value out of the lesson. From my first lesson I had learned a lot and I found his way of coaching very beneficial and interesting. He is very respectful towards me, always focused on helping me improve and is never on his phone. He is very passionate on making me feel confident and safe behind the wheel.
I would highly recommend LDS with Ali Ahmed for a learner who wants a great driving experience and an excellent instructor!

I recently had my first driving lesson with Ali, and it was such a positive experience! From the moment the lesson began, he made me feel completely comfortable on the roads. His coaching style is really engaging, instead of just telling you what to do, he helps you understand why you’re doing it, which made everything click much faster.
I really liked the structured lesson plan and how he broke everything down step by step. At the end, we had a clear debrief where he went through what I did well and what I can focus on next time. I also appreciated that he made notes for me to keep and review later which is such a helpful idea!
Ali was fully focused throughout, calm, patient, and encouraging, which made me feel safe and respected the whole time. I’ve already learned a lot in just one session and genuinely look forward to my next lesson.

My lessons with Ali Ahmed:
I have been taking lessons for a while with Ali and I just want to thank him and I am happy to have him as my driving instructor.What makes Ali’s lessons great is his method of teaching. His style of teaching is actually coaching, it’s more proactive than just telling me what to do, He engages with me to make sure I have a good learning experience. An example of such coaching is that When I make a mistake, he makes me recall what mistakes I have made along the way. This is to make sure I can identify and avoid making mistakes in the future.
The lessons are easy to follow. We start with a recap of the previous lesson, pointing out where I need to improve most. We then plan for the current lesson and at the end of the session, Ali gives feedback to make sure I do not repeat the same mistakes.
Another thing Ali made me to do is commentary driving. Is a method of learning which helps me to learn faster. At first, I was quite nervous to do the commentary driving but I am getting used to it and I found myself learning at a faster rate. It helped me to plan ahead subconsciously and identify potential hazards.
Ali has been a great instructor for me and with his guidance, I have no doubt that I’ll be a confident driver.
I recommend LDS with Ali to absolutely anyone.
